Given the state of today’s current economic and cultural climate, there exists the ever increasing need to travel vast distances to pursue the highest quality performance opportunities. The traditional fire staff design does not facilitate ease of travel and luggage packaging. Introducing, our latest invention, the Elitist Collapsible Fire Staff. Ingenious in it’s design, the Elitist Collapsible fire staff pulls apart, at the simple push of a button, into three short sections that can easily fit into a bag, suitcase, or vehicle. You can rest assured in the knowledge that your fire spinning equipment can come along with you in all your travels without the hassle of the bulky dimensional parameters of a traditional fire staff.

Length when assembled: 146cm

Length when disassembled: Handle piece = 35cm  Wick Ends = 65cm each

Your Elitist Collapsible Fire Staff employs highly effective yet simply designed technology in the mechanism used to join and disconnect the different sections of the staff. Each end of the staff consists of a spring loaded push button that protrudes through the wick end and into the handle piece to lock it into place. Equipped with a rubber coating on the staff material to facilitate smooth transition and a snug fit, your Collapsible Fire Staff is sure to impress. To activate the mechanism, simply push in the button whilst pulling the wick end away from the handle piece. This will disconnect the wick end from the handle. This can then be repeated for the other side of the staff so as to breakdown completely into three individual parts.

To reassemble your staff, again push the button in on the wick end, and slide it into the handle piece making sure the handle piece slides over the top of the button to maintain it’s depression. Make sure you have lined up the button on the wick end, linearly, with the hole in the handle piece. Then slide the wick end further into the handle until the button clicks into it’s hole. You will hear an audible “click’ sound which confirms the button has locked in. If you don’t hear the sound and cant see/feel that the button has come through the hole, continue to slide the wick end in and around inside the tube until it locks in as the line of the tube may have deviated from its path into the handle. If all else fails, simply pull the wick end all the way out and try again. Repeat this process for the other side, and your are ready to fire spin with your full sized fire staff.

Aiding mobility, manoeuvrability, and flow, your fire staff will be equipped with a 2mm thick, soft foam reinforced, high durability rubber grip handle. As you hold your fire staff the soft foam will hug your fingers providing perfect comfort, and the rubber will grip to your hand to prevent slipping during your routine, allowing for the impeccable execution of release moves. When releasing the staff into the air, you will notice the impeccable consistency of the rotation during flight, a testament to the perfect balance in the design. Additionally, the foam layer within the handle will absorb the shock as you catch your staff upon its descent.

Your flame wicks are manufactured of a high grade, top quality Kevlar®-cotton compound, wrapped in abundance on each end of the staff. This professionally considered ratio of Kevlar® and cotton is interwoven in such a way that ensures maximum absorption and retainment of fuel within the wick itself, minimising excess dripping and increasing the burn-time of the flame when ignited. Furthermore, the abundance of high thread count Kevlar® among the cotton provides reinforcement, like a protective skeleton that protects from degradation and increases the longevity of your wicks.

When your first receive your brand new staff, be sure to soak each wick for at least a few minutes in your firespinning fuel, just for the first ignition. Every other time, you are free to dip your wick for as long or as short as you wish. But it is a good idea for the first ever fuel submersion to be for 3 - 4 minutes, this will fully soak your wick ensuring the entire wick is fuelled up right through and the flame will not degrade the kevlar or cotton. This will make your wicks last a lot longer and save you money and precious time.

The wicking arrangement set out on this staff consists of two, four inch wide kevlar wicks, one on each end of the fire staff.
